Five 2027 East Region Players to Pay Close Attention to

One can generally find somewhere to work on skills within an hour of any part of the state including the mountains of eastern part of the Volunteer State. She mixes things up well with deceptive back and regular setovers. O'Daniel is also not afraid to hit balls over on second hits to surprise opponents. O'Daniel is just as valuable on defense. O'Daniel goes on her knees, reacting quick to balls with tough downward trajectories. O'Daniel handles a number of hard and soft hits. Williams continuously gives great effort to get up every balls she can. Williams executes overhead and bump passes effectively and can make pancake digs. Lewis has great range. She can get to tips quickly, beating balls to their destination on the floor. Lewis anticipates balls well then hustles into the net position. Curtin does a good job running the offense for Tennessee. Curtin brings sheer defensive intensity going hard after balls. She reacts quickly to execute sound bump and overhead passes. Almonte tips balls to the sides on ones and gap shots and makes things happen when the team is out of system. Almonte can angle balls off blocks for big points. Almonte is also solid on defense, making crisp first touches then hustling to the next position.
