Five Day Two Bluegrass Tournament Afternoon Strong Performers

Her dedication shows on the court. Moore has a great wrist snap leading to a great downward trajectory. She can smack balls off blockers for big kills and has a solid, hard serve. Moore even takes nice swings from the back row. Moore constantly encourages her teammates and sends free balls across with a purpose. Oleksik makes solid first touches and makes sure teammates are in good positions to succeed. Oleksik said first touches are a mindset, starting with a positive outlook. Yates takes timely swings to different parts of the court and can angle balls off blocks for big points. Yates executes solid role shots. Tyson makes a lot of things happen on ones. She places balls away from defenders and is quick to react on blocked balls to keep plays alive. Tyson records sound double blocks getting hands on a lot of balls and deceptive fakes toward the net. Tyson is coachable. Kinkead's maturity shows on the court as she plays with an even keel. Kinkead goes up strong on blocks forcing balls high and wide. Kinkead is always encouraging her teammates. She takes a sound approach and follow-through on swings. Kinkead has become more consistent on swings. She does a good job denying setover attempts.
