I've watched Nev play several times, and she consistently comes through for her team. I think the last two tournaments I have been at, they have emerged as the champions and she has been a big part of their success. Quick and dynamic, Parsons is an outside that takes aggressive swings and excels at beating the block to generate points in big, high pressure moments. She also works hard on defense, whether blocking pins or slowing down attacks with well timed touches. With her combination of skill, work ethic, and ability to be clutch, Nev is a player who will continue to make an impact and is one to watch as she continues to develop her game into the future.     Fiers is one of those middles that is a game changer on the court. She is quick, competitive, and fearless...embodying all the traits you want in a dominant middle. Her versatility also sets her apart. When stuck in a rotation, she can easily run a route or swing from a pin to side out for her team. She is constantly keeping defenses on their toes and guessing. Naturally athletic, superb skills, and smart with her shot selection, Fiers is one to keep tabs on.     While I know that Matter is a middle as well, I primarily watched her swinging form the pins this past weekend, and she did not disappoint. Matter is a versatile and explosive attacker, which stands out since she has the ability to score from anywhere in the front row. Her strong vertical and powerful swings are complemented by a smart, strategic approach as she reads the block, adjusts mid stride, and consistently finds ways to exploit defenders. Tough and competitive, she is a player her team looks to in tense moments as she can and will deliver.     Wohlwend is a new middle that quickly jumped on my radar this weekend with her energy, work ethic, and consistent hustle. She makes herself available on every play and actively seeks the ball, showcasing her competitiveness and confidence. With quick footwork and a fast arm swing, she is able to get her hands on nearly every ball sent her way. Coupled with a strong reach and excellent discipline, she can attack and defend effectively while staying out of the net, making her an impact presence in the middle.     Krush is a middle that impressed for several reasons, as she showcased a high level of consistency and control that sets her apart. She avoids unforced errors, stays disciplined away from the net, and consistently finds ways to score out of the middle. She listens well and makes smart adjustments when needed, demonstrating strong game awareness. Krush is just as reliable in her blocking game, showcasing both smart positioning and timing, making her a steady and impactful presence on both sides of the net.     Kurtz is an undersized outside hitter that is fearless, taking on competition three age levels above her with confidence and poise. Quick, smart, and relentlessly hustle, she reads the game exceptionally well and makes dynamic plays. She already understands how to score effectively, taking aggressive swings, adjusting mid play, attacking down the line, and using blockers to her advantage. Though still young, she is far ahead of her peers in both skill and mentality, making her a player to watch as she continues to grow and develop her game.
