Texas 2029 State Ranking New Additions Vol 3

We have unveiled the top 67 players in this first publishing of the 2029 class.  This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country.  We have been watching the 2029 class very closely throughout the entire club &amp; high school season.  A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles.  We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.  The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["952570"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-69b1e7b88faef"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Please welcome [player_tooltip player_id='952570' first='Sayge' last='Chandler'] to the State Ranking List. Currently she is listed as the 7th best overall player in the 2029 grad class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. Miss Chandler is a 6'2″ middle blocker from Allen High School who also plays for MadFrog Volleyball Club. There are middles who can score and block, and then there is Miss Chandler who can truly be a game changer for any program at such a young age. She is a very difficult matchup for opposing middles because of how long and dynamic she is above the net. She can cover a lot of ground quickly as she patrols the net from pin to pin thanks to great footwork and quick reaction reflexes that show impressive fast twitch movement. Her first step is extremely fast and that allows her to close the block with ease. She also gives her setter a very large target on quick tempo sets and not many players are able to elevate with her to contest her attack. With her physical tools and continued development, she projects to be a strong college recruit in the future. Currently she is listed as the 8th best overall player in the 2029 grad class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. Miss Ortmeier is a 5'11″ setter and right side from Tomball High School who also competes for [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Volleyball Club. She stands out because of her exquisite skill set when delivering the ball to her attackers. Her very high volleyball IQ becomes clear as she helps guide her squad against open level competition that is a year older than her while she plays up an age group. It is impressive that she is not only competing with older players but thriving in a leadership role as a starting setter. Her hands are extremely clean as she contacts and releases the ball to her hitters with precision. There is not a set on the court that she cannot seem to paint the bullseye with time after time. That level of repeatability comes from her mirror image hand technique that keeps her delivery consistent. You can clearly tell that she has spent countless hours getting quality repetitions to perfect her craft. Currently she is listed as the 9th best overall player and the top right side in the 2029 grad class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. Miss Rhodes is a left-handed 6'1″ right side from Allen High School who also plays for Dallas Skyline Volleyball Club. She can easily be classified as a true shutdown blocker at the net due to her size, strength, and outstanding timing. One aspect that stands out is how she spreads her hands wide to take away as much surface area as possible when forming the block. She does a great job setting up on the hitter's line of approach so their hitting shoulder is centered in her midline. She is also excellent at establishing the block early which allows her middle blockers time to close alongside her. As an attacker, Soleil generates a great deal of power that will translate very well to the next level in the coming years. The talented lefty is also capable of pulling back into serve receive formation and being a primary passer for her team. With her size, skill set, and versatility, she shows all the traits of a future college recruit.
