Please welcome Soleil to the State Ranking List. Currently she is listed as the 9th best overall player and the top right side in the 2029 grad class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. Miss Rhodes is a left-handed 6’1″ right side from Allen High School who also plays for Dallas Skyline Volleyball Club. She can easily be classified as a true shutdown blocker at the net due to her size, strength, and outstanding timing. One aspect that stands out is how she spreads her hands wide to take away as much surface area as possible when forming the block. She does a great job setting up on the hitter’s line of approach so their hitting shoulder is centered in her midline. She is also excellent at establishing the block early which allows her middle blockers time to close alongside her. As an attacker, Soleil generates a great deal of power that will translate very well to the next level in the coming years. The talented lefty is also capable of pulling back into serve receive formation and being a primary passer for her team. With her size, skill set, and versatility, she shows all the traits of a future college recruit. Please help us congratulate Soleil on being named one of the top players in the 2029 grad class.

Miss Rhodes emerged as one of the most imposing physical presences at the Tour of Texas Austin Stop, immediately standing out with her length and impact on both sides of the ball. This talented lefty is an absolute weapon on the right side for Skyline Juniors, creating constant matchup problems for opposing offenses. Her value as a blocker goes far beyond size alone, as her timing and ability to press over the net make her a true shutdown presence. Opposing left-side attackers are often forced to alter their swings or funnel shots around her block, which allows Skyline’s defense to stay organized and in system behind her. That blocking discipline and awareness elevate the entire defensive unit. Offensively, Rhodes is just as dangerous, attacking with a lightning-quick arm swing that gives defenders very little reaction time. Her upper-body strength shows up consistently, allowing her to score with pace and authority even against well-formed blocks. She plays with confidence and purpose, understanding when to be aggressive and when to apply pressure through placement. As this class continues to develop, Rhodes is clearly a name to watch, and when the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings are updated, she is a near lock to earn her place among the state’s top prospects.

Soleil’s size immediately stands out, but what I appreciate most is how well she moves for her height. She uses her length effectively at the net and shows good court awareness on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she can score from different tempos and continues to grow more comfortable attacking against organized blocks. As she gains more experience, I see her physical tools translating into a strong presence at higher levels.

Miss Rhodes is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 class according to our Texas State Rankings but that is only because we have not released them yet.  She plays volleyball at Allen High School and also for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club.  From the moment she checked in at registration, I had court coaches mentioning how excited they were to watch her in action.  Her reputation as a shut down blocker and powerful attacker on the right side preceded her.  As I made my way over to her court, I could easily see what all of the fuss was about.  Soleil is a flat out stud!  If I were a college coach, I would start watching her immediately because this young lady deserves looks already.  She has a high motor and super competitive nature about her that will not go unnoticed by any spectator.  Her physicality at the net will be a problem for any one who will try to battle against her for the foreseeable future.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase.
