2029 Outsides We Have Eyes On

At least two of these 2029 outsides will be among the higher-ranked players in the class when the August 2029 initial Rankings release. Bella McNaughton from Curtis High School and [player_tooltip player_id='786278' first='Rowan' last='Greenfield'] from Gonzaga Prep are both dynamic attackers who have helped lead their respective club teams to outstanding seasons. Is there a fall matchup in the works for these two players and squads? We hope so!    Mode 15 National captured the Evergreen Region 16 Regionals title this weekend, with Greenfield dishing out punishing kills from the outside. The team is talented and improving, and the willowy 2029 OH prospect has grown her game since the beginning of the club season. Greenfield is terminating out-of-system sets in the deep part of the court, playing with confidence in serve receive, and swinging to win when a match is on the line.     Grant has a high ceiling; she is long, comfortable in serve, receive, and defense, and aggressive when she swings. When she adds a more physical aspect to her game, watch out! Grant can score from either pin and is calm, cool, and collected in the back row. Her height can create problems for attackers when she is up and blocking- and her press will only get better as she gets stronger.     Prohn can make it happen as an attacker from either pin; she has been very effective on the right for WVBA 15 this season. She glides easily on her approach and can make an adjustment mid-air when a set is wide or tight. Prohn can snap off a swing at a tight angle. The Monroe High School prospect is an adept scorer who can create a good swing out of a bad situation.     McNaughton is both physical and skilled, an excellent combination that fits her playing style on the court. She is handling the middle back defensively for Dakine 15 National Pink, and looks strong and focused, digging up big swings and passing dimes in serve receive. Curtis players know how to play with emotion and keep their team fired up in a positive way- McNaughton is no exception, and it's fun to watch her squad feed off her energy and competitive grit.     Cooper is playing with NPJ, and the 2029 OH from Oregon has a quick finish to her approach that gives her lift and speed into her swings. Cooper can attack from the pin and the pipe, competing with taller players with ease. Cooper can throw on the libero jersey and handle business as well; she looked fast and explosive running down tips and handling hard swings at Far Westerns. Her versatility is terrific for the team, and Cooper excels in multiple roles, giving NPJ flexibility with their lieups.
