Having Jones as one of their setters, HJV 17 Elite ranked seventh in the tournament with five wins and four losses. The left-handed playmaker played only three rotations, but still managed to make an impact and stand out for them. Jones kept HJV’s offense running in a smooth rhythm, using her middles when she could and remaining accurate with her sets to the pin. The setter did a good job of tracking passes off the net and getting to the ball early and was productive with her serving, too, pushing opponents and getting them out of system.

The junior setter had a great performance for Fulshear, understanding the game very clearly and implementing an efficient strategy, which allowed her team to have full control of the match almost the entire time. Jones quickly identified that feeding her middles would be one of the keys to winning the game and did that extremely well, keeping her team’s offense running at a strong rhythm the entire time. She adjusted accordingly at the end of the third set, when outside hitter Jada Skinner Jada Skinner 5'9" | OH/RS Fulshear | 2028 State TX was on fire, and played a major role in the team’s victory. Jones also appeared well at the net with her blocking and made an impact with her serving.

A new face with Fulshear this season, the junior setter did a great job running the team’s offense. Jones demonstrated great understanding of the game and was excellent with her distribution, consistently making the right choices. A six-footer, the left-handed setter was used as a right side hitter during part of the fourth and fifth sets and responded well, using her reach to put the ball down in key moments. Jones also had a strong blocking presence, went on good serving runs and produced well when playing defense, delivering a solid all-around performance.

Reina has a great serve that floats right over the tape and falls deep into the back corner, making it nearly impossible for her opponents to return. Each time she serves, the ball seems to defy gravity for a moment, catching everyone off guard with its precision and power. Her setting is precise and consistent, no matter where she is on the court, allowing her teammates to execute their plays seamlessly. Whether she’s near the net or at the far end of the court, her ability to read the game and deliver perfect sets ensures that the team stays balanced and ready to score, showcasing not only her skill but also her exceptional understanding of the dynamics of volleyball.
