One of our recent features highlighted a stacked group of 15 Open contenders who brought their best to home territory at the Show Me Qualifier. That division featured a title-winning Heart of America Region team and a host of other nearby stars. However, the 15s discussion doesn't have to stop there.

So, while we have a few more 15 Open juggernauts to address in this newest series, we're also branching out in the 15s hierarchy. Our hunt for star 2029s continues.

We couldn't pass on the opportunity to triple down on the 15 Open champs. Our last article visited a pair of [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 Black gems, but VanNess deserves her own time in the spotlight. This freshman setter's distribution and location are well beyond her years. VanNess is especially accurate on her back sets, allowing 15 Black's opposites and sliding middle blockers to exploit attacking windows at the antenna. Of course, this Basehor-Linwood prep star also brings the athleticism and gun-slinging style you'd expect from a Dynasty setter. VanNess has helped turn 15 Black into a true GJNC title contender.

Show Me was a banner weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']']'s 15s competitors. While [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 15-1 was busy racking up six wins in 15 Open, the club's 15-2 group clawed to a second-place finish in 15 USA. Elliott has been a centerpiece of the team's wildly successful 2026 campaign, highlighted by top-ten finishes at MEQ and Windy City. But Show Me proved to be the peak of [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power']'s ascent with Elliott leading a quick, efficient offense. Aside from her ability to dish it, Elliott offers incredible physicality to maintain 15-2's blocking strength in a one-setter system.

Let's meet another one of the top-placing athletes from the 15 USA fray. CSDP Volleyball Club turned heads with its quarterfinal appearance in Show Me's 15 USA division, and the team's signal-caller had a lot to do with it. Roark is a rangy setter whose aggression on second contacts establishes CSDP's hard-hitting style. The team has grown increasingly comfortable throughout the spring season, culminating in a top-five finish across the Show Me State. We've seen Roark channel her freshman experience with Ozark High School, where she piled up 9.5 assists per set in her prep debut. Tough competition will never deter this six-rotation standout.

We had to get in another showcase throwback. Franklin was our Avoli Committed Athlete from last winter's KS/MO Exposure Tour showcase, so we had high expectations for her heading into 2026. This multi-position terminator has backed up the hype while locking down the middle blocker spot for MAVS KC 15 National. Simply put, Franklin is one of the most unique middle blockers you'll see on the Heart of America circuit. She's incredibly agile from pin to pin and will make full use of her springy burst off the floor. Franklin can also tee off on the pin if needed, adding to her diverse route tree in the front row.

The Dynasty setters strike again. This club has flexed its 15s depth lately, and Lickteig has engineered 15 Blue's growth through the qualifier gauntlet. This dynamic setter-opposite lifted 15 Blue to Show Me's 15 Liberty championship match, allowing Lickteig's quickness and finesse to shine. She hustles to get her feet to the ball and makes the most of passes drifting off the net. 15 Blue hasn't been afraid to force its middles in tight situations, and this risk-taking mentality yielded a GJNC bid on home turf.

573 15 Premier C was tabbed as one of our teams to watch in the 15 Liberty race. Chiteri embraced that extra pressure and brought the right-side hammer en route to a podium finish. 15 Premier C's transition offense was funneled through this explosive opposite, giving opposing teams plenty to think about in 573's three-hitter rotations. Chiteri doesn't need to dent the floor to score, either. The spring slate has revealed her knack for tooling hands and chiseling off the outer edges. These are the skills that translate to postseason success.

We have one more from the 15 Liberty field. Hiner and her KNVBC 15 Showtime crew battled through a rigorous schedule in Kansas City and added to the Heart of America's depth in this age group. The Garden Plain freshman was already on our radar after posting a triple-digit kill total with the Owls last fall. Homer has maintained that influence on the club side while blending some exceptional ball handling into her all-around game. This is an outside hitter worthy of the “showtime” moniker.
