[player_tooltip player_id='474505' first='Raneighla' last='Gonzalez'], a Class of 2028 middle blocker from Sierra Canyon High School and CITY Volleyball Club, currently ranked No. 48 overall in the Prep Dig California State Rankings, walked into the Salt Lake City Showdown and did exactly what she has done at every Prep Dig showcase she has attended...she made it impossible to look anywhere else. Earning Top Performer honors at multiple events is not a coincidence and it is not luck; it is a pattern, and patterns tell you everything you need to know about a player's character and consistency. At 5'11" she has the physical tools to impact the front row at the next level, but what stands out even more than the frame is the motor she plays with. Miss Gonzalez is relentless at the net, active in transition, and competitive from the first whistle to the last. College coaches talk about wanting players who are great in the locker room and great on the court, and she brings both in abundance, the kind of personality that teammates gravitate toward and coaching staffs build their culture around. Her blocking instincts are advanced for a Class of 2028 player and she attacks with an efficiency and decisiveness that tells you the volleyball IQ is running well ahead of her age. Raneighla is the real deal and the programs that recognize that early are going to look very smart when this class matures. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='322364' first='Izabella' last='Cano'], a Class of 2027 libero from Sharyland Pioneer High School in Mission and McAllen Fierce Volleyball Club, currently ranked No. 43 overall in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, is exactly the kind of prospect that gets looked over because of where she plays and exactly the kind that coaches who do their homework end up winning a recruiting cycle with. Prep Dig has said it plainly before and it bears repeating here: some lucky coach is going to win the lottery when they scoop her up, and the Salt Lake City Showdown was one more reminder of why that statement is not hype. Her ability to create angles and soften contact with her platform is genuinely unmatched in the south Texas region, and when she steps into a bigger national setting she simply transfers that skill without blinking. What makes her special beyond the technique is the way she processes the game. Her reads are sharp, her positioning is early, and she consistently delivers passes that put her offense in a position to run fast and efficiently rather than scrambling. She has always been playing up against older and more experienced competition at the club level, absorbing that experience and turning it into polish that shows up clearly on film. Now she is back to playing with her true age group/grad class and continues to put on technical clinics on the court as she produces stellar results that younger players should be emulating. A team that gives her a chance will not just be getting a libero, they will be getting a player who changes how their offense operates from the very first day she steps on the practice court. Izabella is a phenom from the Rio Grande Valley and the clock is ticking for programs that have not yet made that call. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

Angelica Dylag, a Class of 2027 outside hitter from Elk Grove High School and Adversity Volleyball Club, currently listed on the official Prep Dig Illinois State Watch List, brings a competitive profile that has been shaped by real adversity and is better for it. At 6'0" she has the physical profile that college coaches dream about on the left pin, and the fact that she has experience playing both middle and outside gives her a versatility and understanding of the front row that most pure outside hitters simply do not have at this stage of their development. She has made the most of every opportunity she has been given, including navigating lineup changes and role adjustments at the high school level with the kind of maturity and coachability that speaks well of her long-term ceiling. Her arm is a genuine weapon and she attacks with the combination of length and timing that creates angles blockers cannot fully account for, and her ability to read the block and adjust her shot in real time reflects a volleyball IQ that her physical tools only make more dangerous. At this showcase she showed why the Watch List recognition was earned and then gave evaluators reasons to consider bumping her up when the next update comes around. Angelica is a 6'0" outside hitter who deserves a full recruiting audience, and college programs searching the Illinois and Midwest market should not wait any longer to reach out. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.
