Every decision runs through them, and every touch has the potential to shape the outcome of a rally.   This group showed a strong ability to process the game in real time. They are recognizing defensive shifts, adjusting tempo, and communicating with purpose to create better opportunities for their hitters. What separates them is not just their hands, but how they think. They are learning how to control rhythm, create mismatches, and lead their team through both momentum and pressure.   For college coaches, setters who can organize the game and make intentional decisions under stress are the ones that stand out. This group is starting to show that.    Logan Guerra plays with a strong awareness of how to create advantage through both serving and offensive distribution. After recognizing a defensive shift in serve receive, she adjusted her serve location to target open space, creating multiple scoring opportunities and putting consistent pressure on the opponent.   As a setter, her decision to involve her middles in a variety of tempos reflects an understanding of how to influence the opposing block. By mixing in different quick options, she was able to create seams and open up opportunities across the offense, helping her team regain control of the set.   She is currently focused on refining her communication style, recognizing how to support teammates in high-pressure moments. That level of detail strengthens trust and raises the level of play across the team.   She is continuing to refine her decision-making in high-pressure moments, using each experience to build clarity and confidence in her choices.
