About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am always hustling for the ball, keep a good attitude during the game, and always try my best to give all my hitters the best scoring opportunities.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

It’s been a struggle finding the right mentality after having an off day, but finding the right coaches and teammates this year made me realize we are all human, make mistakes, and try again. my new favorite way to reset is to take a deep breath, run to the endline then back to base, and put a smile back on my face.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received multiple high honor roll rewards, I work at chick-fil-a, I do social media content for multiple different businesses, and I’ve done many fundraisers to donate towards restaurants in need of help, animal shelters, and even the homeless as well. I’m very included in my church and love doing any activities they have going on there as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership is a huge skill I developed since being part of a team. I was always a shy and quiet kid, but being around girls who look up to the setter on the court, I learned how to give positive but altering feedback when my team needs it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My mindset and mental state while playing has always been a challenge, but since 17s season started, I’ve been so much more confident in myself and comfortable about the team i’m with.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for somewhere near home, which is california for me, so arizona, california, or hawaii. I’m a huge christian and am looking into taking project management and business courses as well.
