Jerrell (pictured) uses her size to disrupt things at the net. Jerrell reacts quickly to blocked balls to keep plays alive. Jerrell also takes sound swings. Jerrell is enough of an offensive threat that teams have to respect her. That generally takes blockers away from teammates. Jerrell said doing that frees up the net for teammates to take nice rips.

Herbert has taken huge steps forward during club season for 16 Green as a six-rotation player. Herbert has improved her decision-making as a setter during club season. Herbert influences things at the net with her sound blocking form. As a left-handed hitter, Herbert makes enough steps behind the net to put across solid cross shots. Herbert also does a good job lunging after balls under control to keep plays alive. Herbert adds in a sound jump serve. Herbert sends free balls across with a purpose and heavily encourages her teammates on the court. Herbert said she accepted a 16 Green position to get more repetitions at setter and find different ways to put hitters in position to succeed.
