Today, we're combining a couple of groups in our Nationals preview, taking a look at teams set to compete in the USA and Liberty divisions. Both divisions are primarily populated through qualifier finishes and bid reallocation, and they consistently feature high-level, competitive volleyball.

[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 18 Elite
[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] punched their ticket at the Music City Qualifier with a runner-up finish, building on earlier momentum after placing 7th at their home qualifier in Kansas City. They followed that with a 6th-place showing up north. As noted in previous articles, the region's [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] League was cut short due to weather, limiting valuable in-region reps. This group is anchored by strong back-row play from Giavanna DeRose and Lucy Bokenbroger. Their serve-receive and overall ball control will be key to keeping them in system and competitive against deeper fields.

Mizuno CNVBC 18 Sammie
[program_tooltip program_id='515493' first='Club' last='North'] has been steady across all age divisions, and 18 Sammie backed that up with a runner-up finish at the Southeast Qualifier to earn their bid. They opened the season with a 9th-place finish in Kansas City before finding their rhythm and securing a February bid. A 5th-place finish at NEQ highlights their consistency. Adalyn Maclean remains one of the more reliable setters in the region: efficient, composed, and always making the right decisions. With terminal hitters like Hannah Klein and Kyleigh Casey, they have the fire[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] to side out at a high level.

[program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder'] 18 Navy
Rockwood secured an at-large bid out of the Sierra Qualifier following a strong overall body of work. Early in the season, they finished second in Liberty at MLK to earn their initial bid. Most recently, they placed 5th in the 18 Premier division at the JVA/AAU Championships. This is a battle-tested group with a deep tournament résumé. Setter Audrey Hackney runs the offense and will be key in establishing tempo and balance as they navigate a physical USA field.

Liberty Division

417 Mo. Jrs. 18 Elite
417 has been one of the more consistent teams in the region, stacking top-10 finishes across both Liberty and USA events. Their best showing came at Music City, where they went 9-1 en route to a runner-up finish. Gwen Kubik headlines the offense and is complemented by setters Isabella Asante and Taylor Wood, giving them versatility in distribution. When they're in system, they can apply pressure with a balanced attack.

Mavs 18 National
Mavs National made a statement at NEQ, going a perfect 9-0 to secure their bid. They played clean, disciplined volleyball throughout the weekend. Setter Addison Bloor continues the trend of high-level facilitators in this group, bringing steady hands and strong leadership. In the middle, Kalen Post is a name to watch, particularly as a presence at the net in both transition and blocking.

[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 18 Black
[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']'s bid returns to the region from Northern Lights, and they're a team that could be a dangerous out in this division. They've challenged themselves with a heavy Open schedule, which should translate well against strong Liberty competition. They finished 4th at regionals behind teams competing in Open and National this weekend. Avery Sands and Sydni Lafasciasno have been steady contributors, but keep an eye on the added impact of players moving up for Nationals—most notably sisters [player_tooltip player_id='480396' first='Peyton' last='Kubik'] and [player_tooltip player_id='807962' first='Jensen' last='Kubik'], who could elevate the ceiling of this group.
