[player_tooltip player_id='846625' first='Dina' last='Faalogo'], a Class of 2030 setter from Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista and Storm Volleyball Club, is the kind of young player that makes you stop and take notice because the natural feel for the setter position is simply already there. She distributes the ball very well to all of her hitters evenly and doesn't allow the opposing defense to cheat to one side or the other. Her footwork showed a clean pattern throughout the showcase and she consistently got to her spot before the ball arrived, which is a technical detail that separates developing setters from ones who are truly ahead of the curve. There is also a competitive personality to her game that stands out at this age. She wants to be in charge of the point and she commands the court the way you want your setter to command it. Dina is one of the younger prospects in this article series and one of the more compelling ones. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='949490' first='Tatum' last='Frias'], a Class of 2027 libero from Kalani High School and Spike and Serve Volleyball Club, is a player who understands exactly what her position demands and executes it with a consistency and intelligence that catches your eye immediately. She has put in serious position-specific work with some of the best libero coaches in Hawaii and it shows in every aspect of how she reads and moves on the court. Her platform technique is refined and reliable, and she stays mechanically sound even under pressure, which is the clearest sign that her training has translated into real on-court discipline. Tatum processes hitter tendencies quickly and arrives in passing position before most players her age have even finished reading the serve, giving her team a genuine back row anchor they can count on in critical moments. She also brings energy and competitive edge to every rally, staying vocal and engaged between plays rather than waiting passively for the ball to come to her. Coming out of Spike and Serve, an 18-time national championship program with deep roots in developing college-bound players, she is being trained at the level her talent deserves. Tatum is a 2027 libero who has the work ethic, the technical foundation, and the intangibles to generate serious interest from college programs. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

[player_tooltip player_id='708497' first='Lailah' last='Clayborne'], a Class of 2028 outside hitter and middle blocker from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and Alliance Volleyball Club, and currently listed on the official Prep Dig California State Watch List, is a player whose versatility and athleticism give college staffs a genuine reason to pay close attention. At 5'9" with the ability to play both pin and middle, she brings the kind of multi-positional value that is difficult to find. Long Beach Poly is a program that won its first CIF Southern Section indoor volleyball title since 2010 in 2025 and went on to compete in the CIF State Division 1 playoffs, so the competition and standard she is being held to every day in practice is nothing short of excellent. Lailah has clearly taken advantage of that environment, developing into a prospect whose physical tools and court IQ are both moving in the right direction at the same time. She attacks with conviction and shows a willingness to play the full game rather than just hunting kills, which tells you the volleyball maturity is catching up with the athleticism. Her blocking instincts on both pins and in the middle are worth noting because she stays active and challenges hitters rather than just jumping and hoping. We were super excited when she volunteered for one of our demonstrations on the center court with everyone watching and she put on a show that got her moved up to the top courts. Lailah is a talented prospect in one of the deepest and most competitive states in the country and programs that make early contact with her will be glad they did not wait. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.
