The event brought together athletes from across the region looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. Let's take a closer look at three players who earned Top Performer honors based on what they showed on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='944561' first='Chanel' last='Tibbs'], a Class of 2031 right side zoned to Eastlake High School and plays for the Storm Volleyball club, stood out with her ability to impact the match from the right pin at a young age. She showed a confident attacking presence, taking smart swings and finding ways to score without forcing plays. Chanel displayed good footwork in transition and was able to get into position consistently, which allowed her to stay involved offensively. There were moments where her court awareness showed up, especially in how she adjusted her shots based on the block. Being such a younger athlete, it was refreshing to see her compete at such a high level against older competition. For a player this early in her development, her composure and feel for the game were noticeable. Chanel is a young prospect who already shows promising upside. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Arianna Hoffman, a Class of 2029 libero from Hurricane High School and Ignite Volleyball, brought a steady and confident presence to the back row throughout the showcase. She handled serve receive with consistency and showed the ability to absorb pace while still delivering accurate passes. Arianna reads the game well and positions herself early, allowing her to control a high number of defensive touches. Her movement is efficient, and she does not waste steps when tracking the ball. There were several sequences where she extended rallies with effort plays, keeping her team in points that could have easily been lost. I was blown away at times with her tenacity as she had a relentless pursuit of the ball without regard for her own safety at times. She will do anything to keep the ball in play and college coaches will love that about her. There were times that she wowed everyone watching her play. She competes with a calm demeanor that allows her to stay composed in fast paced situations. Arianna proved to be a reliable anchor in the back row. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='921928' first='Kennedy' last='Flynn'], a Class of 2029 middle blocker from Mountain View High School and Club One AZ, and currently ranked No. 84 in the Prep Dig Arizona State Rankings, made her presence known at the net. Standing at 6'1”, she brings the kind of size that immediately impacts opposing hitters, but it was her activity and intent that stood out. Kennedy showed a willingness to press over the net and challenge attackers, rather than simply reacting to the play. Offensively, she displayed flashes of being a consistent option in the middle, connecting on quick sets and finishing when given the opportunity. She moved well laterally and stayed engaged across multiple phases of the rally. There is still room for growth in her overall consistency, but the tools are clearly there as she shows flashes of brilliance. Kennedy is a player who has the potential to continue climbing as her game develops. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
