2030 Attackers Generating Heat This Club Season

Kovacevich will give any team she plays for multiple options; she is a 6'1" RS/Setter/Opposite with a smooth lefty arm swing and a strong athletic profile. She was hard to stop swinging from the right side for a tough SIVBC 14 Hurricane squad; the team battled hard at the Emerald City Classic, dropping 4 tough matches in 3 sets playing up in the 15 Open Division. Kovacevich ripped off aggressive, confident swings, attacking high hands from both pins, and, off a combination play, Sudden Impact ran with her, barreling down the middle to find room against the block.     Blevins was a young player competing up during the club season with her 208 16 Blue team. The future Lewis and Clark Tiger has terrific pace on her serve; she hammers a diving ball into the last quarter of the court, forcing passers into tough in/out decisions. Blevins is a physical player with good size, and she shows good instincts defensively in the middle back.     The 2030 prospect plays for Aspire NW 15 Empire; Tyler is a developing, prototype right-side with excellent size, a big block, and a heavy arm. She is able to drop back and pass in serve receive when needed, and can be counted on to score with a soft tip to "4" when defenses are on their heels. Tyler's main calling card now is making life hard for outsides with her excellent timing and press as a blocker, and rocketing kills when she finds a hole in the block.     Pietz is going to be a handful for opponents in the middle. She has strong hands and is active and quick as a blocker and as an attacker in transition. Her Space Needle 14 setters find her on a variety of routes, including the slide and a gap "3" Pietz hammers down. She hits a flat, hard floater from the service line- Pietz has great success keeping teams out of the system when it's her time to serve.     Stout is a 2030 OH prospect out of Oregon, with great experience on the beach and in the indoor game. She swings with power and can drop in shots with touch and finesse when she needs to mix it up. Stout plays smart middle back defense; she positions herself well and can make a quick reaction play when a ball is deflected off a block or pushed to a corner. Her Athena 14 Gold team captured the National Bid for the CEVA Region; they will compete at USAV Nationals in Indianapolis later this summer.     Paulson is developing a solid overall game; she hustles and plays gritty defense, has a growing selection of shots on the pin, and mixes up her serves to keep pressure on the opposing passers. She was an option out of the pipe for her PSVBA 15 Legacy team, and generates power with excellent hand contact and a high, fluid arm swing.
