Heisig (pictured) is the definition of the word versatile. On top of that, she has great size and athleticism. Heisig continuously finds ways to go over, around and even through double blocks whether it is on ones, go routes or slides. She has solid four to five-step approaches then gets on top of balls to put great power into them. Heisig takes powerful back row hits. Her net spacing is also a big key and she can angle balls off blocks and out of bounds for big points. Heisig is extremely aggressive at the net on blocks. The other blocker can step a few inches away from her because Heisig can use her length to bat down attempted hits through the double block window. Heisig makes good out of system sets, especially when she uses her hands. The six-rotation standout is also a sound passer in the back row. Her ball control on first touches could use some work, but Heisig improves each time she takes the court.

Loud makes sure the Royals get in a sound offensive rhythm with her consistency on first touches. Loud provides great range and nice net backup. She takes quick steps up and back on passes, trying to form walls around balls. Loud handles hard and soft hits including crosses regularly and only dives out of necessity. Loud sends across nice float serves.

McLain has turned into a reliable passer in the back row for 16-1 Nancy. McLain steps toward then into balls for sound passes and executes both the bump and overhead passes. McLain handles a variety of hard and soft hits. McLain is not afraid to dive or go down to one knee to make passes under control. She also provides solid net backup and shows great enthusiasm on the court.

Summertown has posted some sound multi-sport athletes over the years and Bonner could be another one. Bonner stepped into the setter role in a big way for the Eagles in the fall. Bonner does a good job distributing the ball, running an efficient offense. Bonner consistently puts hitters in position to succeed. Bonner also had a hand in a number of blocks. Bonner had 1,327 assists, 152 digs and 61 assisted blocks in the fall, helping Summertown go 42-9, win the Division I-A District 11 championship and finish third in the Division I-A State Tournament.
