Wrapping up all of the 16s divisions that are well-represented by the Hoosier State, we dive into athletes that have qualified in the 16 American division. Here are six athletes that should move the needle in recruiting this summer and beyond, and a couple that are just now cracking the surface of what their potential might be.

Able to terminate from either pin with ease, Elle is a high contact attacker who finds her spots with solid court vision and solid training. Yes, she's part of a large group of 5'9”ish pin attackers here in Indiana, but what sets her apart is her ability to minimize mistakes and take what both the setter and the defense give her. She also fits right in with her club squad as an overachieving, relentless fighter, which easily explains their ability to qualify at GJNCs.

This is the first time I've written about Miss Lee since January, and it hopefully won't be the last. Jocelynn's long arms, along with above-average court vision, allow her to regularly pick and choose her shots that can score points regularly. She does have the ability to hit high and hard, which is nice to have when everything is in-system. What she does with the not-so-perfect-looking sets are where Miss Lee separates herself from the rest of the middle cadre here in Indiana.

One of many 5'10”ish middles here in central Indiana, Hallie is capable of being that hybrid attacker that seems to be seeing more and more playing time as our game evolves. Some good traits Miss Rieck carries include making smart shots and staying within herself while trying not to do too much. A little higher-end training in the weight room will improve her leg lift and transitional speed, but that's fixable, especially considering the level of play that she already brings. (Yes, that's a Perry Meridian jersey you see in her profile pic, but she's listed as attending Southport in her Circle City roster listing.)

This is a first for me—-a 5'7” middle getting a write up from yours truly. First off, she's probably not going to play middle in college. That being said, her speed, jumping ability and overall athleticism is sneaky good, and she has (and will continue to) beat unsuspecting middles thinking she's not going to get the ball because of her size. I like the arm swing, her foot speed, her transition to attack and her fire. She's going to end up as a pin hitter for a small school somewhere, but knowing that she's been beating bigger kids her whole career has promise.

One of a pair of lefties on this roster, Taylor has all of the tools and the talent to play right side for a smaller school at the next level. With a high attack point, great vision and setup on her block and an overall ability to be around the ball on coverage and defense, it's been nice seeing her overachieve and play up a year for a 16s team at GJNC's this summer.

The second of two lefties I've personally evaluated on NIVA's 16 Purple squad, Miss Miller is the harder-hitting lefty with a little more size to boot. She's hits with borderline recklessness, making her hard to block and even harder to dig. I like the relentlessness with which she hits, as she has a tendency to go on scoring runs with that heavy shoulder of hers. The size is right for the position, and she'd be a sneaky good addition to a school looking for a lefty.
