Hoosiers At GJNCs: 17 American Athletes To Watch

There are plenty of athletes to see, in all positions, that should make a difference in their respective graduating classes. With a strong base and a calm platform, Miss Faulk is steady-as-she-goes when passing. Strong in the upper body and quick with her feet, Abree finds a way to get to each and every set sent her way to make a hittable set turn into points for her squad. She has size (6'), length (long arms makes blocking look easy to her), and a higher-than-average volleyball IQ that reads attackers well. Her fast transition and ability to outjump most of her opposing blockers sneaks up on defenses, and Ava's quick arm swing is tough to defend on each and every transition opportunity. Yes, she a little undersized on the block in the middle. Every time I see her, she looks a <em>little</em> bit taller, yet keeps that ethereal smoothness to her play. With soft hands delivering mostly accurate sets to her hitters, she can set any ball she wants in any type of offense there is. Length is her strength, and she uses every inch of her frame to block exceptionally well and attack at a very high point. Whomever picks up this young lady in the class of ‘27 will receive a high character, high work ethic middle who can do everything AND have a size advantage once she arrives on a campus.
