Easily one of the best setting options in the class of ‘28, Maggie has been playing up a year in club and more than held her own. Every time I see her, she looks a little bit taller, yet keeps that ethereal smoothness to her play. With soft hands delivering mostly accurate sets to her hitters, she can set any ball she wants in any type of offense there is. I’d like her block to be a little less narrow, but if that’s the only knock against her game, she should continue to be one of the top recruits in the class of ‘28 for years to come.

Long, lean and already running a faster-than-average offense, Maggie looks every bit the part of a D1 setter. She’s been part of a 6-2 in high school, but excels in a 5-1 system in club. Able to go get the tight and over-passed passes and turn them into hittable balls, Maggie’s hands do a great job of making every hitter on her squad better. To be a complete setting recruit, the last part of her game, her defense, needs addressed. However, I can take the continued development of her blocking and floor defense with the outstanding ability she has to run an offense, with size and smarts for days.

Easily one of the smoothest setters in this or any class in Indiana, Maggie has high, strong hands that have already become accustomed to a faster, open-level offense while also playing up an age group. Her maturity shows when things go south on her side, and I think she’s still growing—-I might have to double-check her 6’1” height listed, as she looks closer to 6’2”. I’d like to see her take advantage of that height of hers too; already a solid blocker, she should take advantage offensively when she’s in the front row. No worries, however, as that can be taught in the training gym. She’s one of the best in her class, and I would not be surprised if she were the first setter off of the board for the class of ‘28.

Previously on Rev’s 16-1s squad, she’s moved up with the age group to now be on Rev’s top 17s squad in the open division once again. Maggie’s size, accuracy and high-end natural abilities puts her among the elite in the class of ‘28, and I think she’s still growing (some publications have her height listed at 6’2”.). With buttery-soft hands and a location/tempo combination that is among the best in the Midwest at her position and class, Maggie’s ability to run an offense without “look-at-me” flash makes her one of the top setters anywhere, in any class.

From a family of volleyballers, Maggie is a tall, long and lean setter that is smooth as silk in her footwork and accurate in her set placement. It doesn’t hurt that she’s 6’1”, and her wingspan makes her look even taller. Able to get tight passes and make the set in-system is her speciality, and she uses her long strides to get to out-of-system passes off the net just as well. On defense, she’s more than capable of holding her own as a blocker, and will make more than one attacker think twice about challenging her.

As part of a 6-2 at 4A blue blood Hamilton Southeastern, Maggie’s ability to run an offense looks smooth and almost, dare I say it, EASY. Her length allows her to go get balls that are tight or overpassed and turn them into hittable sets, and she has innate abilities to know exactly whom to set in the right situation. She played up an age group last season, so look for her to be even more prepared for older competition this coming spring.

Long, lean and carrying a bunch of confidence with her, Maggie is a next-level setter, and easily the best example of a Power Four setter from Indiana. Her size alone allows her to get to tight passes and convert them into hittable balls, while her hands are fluid and high, looking almost textbook in technique. Quiet and unassuming, she’s a leader by example, and has bailed her squads out (without accolades) on multiple occasions over the last year due to their iffy passing. Already among the high school elite here in Indiana, it’s only a matter of time before she can count herself among the collegiate elite.

Playing up a year on recently-qualified Rev 16-1, Maggie is a long and lean setter that is smooth as silk with her hands, her feet and everything in between. She can go get the tight pass and make a perfect set, keep things in tempo when the passes aren’t perfect, and is tough to attack against despite her slight frame. She really showed out at our showcase last year, and has proven time and again that she’s only going to get better and stronger as time goes on.

The only class of ’28 kid on this list, Maggie is far and away one of the best and smoothest setters in her class, if not THE best. With length for days, high hands, accuracy to her hitters and height to go with all of those traits, it may only be a matter of time before she becomes the heir apparent to HSE’s pipeline of D1 setters. Let’s also not forget that Maggie is playing up a year and making this whole thing look WAY too easy. Miss Sliwa is a no-doubt recruit for the next level, and I would not be surprised if she was Power Four bound in the next year or two.

Silky smooth as a setter and rarely making errors as an attacker, Maggie is every bit the part of a hybrid 6-2 setter. When attacking, she hits high and hard, making opposing blocks nearly obsolete with her attack touch. While setting, her calm and athletic nature got her to every ball, which of course helps when you’re 6’1″. Her placement is above-average, she never seems like she’s in a hurry, and calmly does her job well. I can’t pin down which skill she’s better at, so we’ll go with both. Because of that, Maggie’s stock has risen significantly with this expo alone, and I look forward to seeing her development on the court this spring.
