<p>Regional Championships have all come to a close, During these tournaments across Texas we have seen some incredible talent. In the Lonestar region, we've covered dominant players in the 17s divisions and have made our through setters and hitters of the 16s division. Her ability to read the setter and move laterally to close blocks at the pins is phenomenal, making her a major defensive presence at the net. Abigail consistently takes away angles and frustrates opposing hitters with her timing and discipline as a blocker. Beyond her impact defensively, she applies pressure from the service line with aggressive, purposeful serves and remains a strong offensive weapon in transition. Whether she is shutting down attackers or swinging confidently at the net, Abigail plays with intensity and control that make her a difference-maker on both sides of the ball.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Veida Rodriguez, middle blocker for SA Lightning, brings a powerful presence to the court with her athletic movement and relentless energy. She does an excellent job closing the block and working side to side to protect her back row, showing great awareness and effort defensively. Veida's ability to move efficiently at the net allows her to challenge hitters and make life difficult for opposing offenses. Offensively, she delivers a big swing that brings intensity to every attack, and her passion for the game is impossible to miss. Her energy lifts her teammates every play, making her not only a strong middle blocker, but also an emotional spark for SA Lightning.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS/Liberos of 2028</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Hudson Reed, DS/libero for Austin Performance, is the type of defender every team wants on the floor. Her serving ability immediately stands out, consistently putting pressure on opponents and creating opportunities for her team. Hudson attacks every play with nonstop effort, doing whatever it takes to make the pass and keep the rally alive. She covers her hitters consistently, reads the game well, and stays in constant motion from the first contact to the final whistle. Her relentless motor and competitive mentality make her a dependable defensive presence and an energy source for Austin Performance.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Hannah Forshee, DS/libero for Houston Stellar, brings a calm and controlled presence to the backcourt with her high volleyball IQ and steady defensive play. She is well-trained in reading hitters and positioning herself to make the right defensive play, allowing her to consistently keep rallies alive. Hannah delivers a reliable pass that gives her setters the opportunity to run the offense efficiently and spread the ball across the net. What stands out most is her composure throughout the match — she plays with patience, confidence, and trust in her abilities, never looking rushed in high-pressure moments. Her consistency and poise make her a dependable anchor for Houston Stellar's defense.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Kylie Rexrode, DS/libero for SA Lightning, plays the game with an offensive mindset that brings energy and momentum to every rally. Her quick feet and outstanding transition ability allow her to move seamlessly from defense into offensive opportunities, helping her team stay fast and aggressive. Kylie reads the game well and stays active in every phase of play, consistently putting herself in position to make an impact. From the service line, she delivers an impressive serve to the corners that disrupts opponents and forces teams out of system. Her speed, confidence, and aggressive approach make her a dynamic presence in the backcourt for SA Lightning.</p>
