The event will feature some of the top young talent from across the region, giving players the opportunity to compete, train, and gain exposure in front of high-level coaches and evaluators. Nevada continues to produce rising talent at the middle school level, and these five athletes will look to make a strong impression as they represent the Silver State on a big stage.

Malia has continued to make major strides in her development and is quickly becoming one of the more intriguing young prospects in Nevada volleyball. First spotted playing middle blocker during last club season, Malia successfully transitioned to the outside by summer and has continued elevating her game ever since. She is a strong, athletic hitter who consistently gets on top of the ball, allowing her to hit over blocks, find open holes in the defense, and terminate from either pin. Malia's high reach and aggressive arm swing make her a force offensively, while her willingness to constantly seek extra reps continues to accelerate her growth. She has also spent significant time improving her serve receive and defensive skills to become a more complete six-rotation player. With her physical tools, work ethic, and impact on the court, Malia has all the makings of a future difference-maker at the high school level and beyond.

“My position is outside hitter. My biggest strength on the court is hitting and being a leader,” Malia told Prep Dig Nevada.

Heading into the UA Next Middle School Camp, Malia is looking forward to testing herself against elite competition.

“My goals for this camp are to challenge myself by playing some of the best players on the West Coast,” she said.

When asked what she hopes college coaches notice most about her game, Malia pointed directly to her mentality and effort.

“I want college coaches to notice my energy, effort, and willingness to learn the game,” she shared.

Outside of volleyball, Malia continues to stand out in multiple areas of her life.

“Coaches should know that I am a 4.0 student, I volunteer, and I am a leader in my community.”

Zoey has built her reputation through relentless effort and a nonstop motor on the court. The Vegas Aces libero has been putting in the sweat equity for years, and this season it has paid off in a major way. Zoey recently helped Vegas Aces 14 Ren earn a bid to nationals after capturing first place at Red Rock Rave, continuing to establish herself as one of the top liberos in her class. Her game is polished beyond her years, especially in serve receive where she consistently delivers a strong platform and calm presence in the back row. Defensively, she is fearless, never hesitating to get low or hit the floor to keep plays alive. She also reads the game at a high level, racks up aces with a tough float serve, and is always ready to attack from the back row when the opportunity presents itself.

“As my team's libero, my biggest strength is my ability to read and play defense. I love being the person my team counts on in the back row,” Zoey told Prep Dig Nevada.

Heading into the UA Next Middle School Camp, Zoey is looking to continue challenging herself while learning from other talented athletes.

“My goal is to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I look forward to connecting with other players and to learn from everyone around me,” she said.

When asked what she hopes college coaches notice most about her game, Zoey pointed directly to her defensive mentality and effort.

“I would like coaches to notice my defensive intensity and court awareness. As a libero, my job is to get to every ball. I want them to see my effort and contribution to keeping the game in play,” she shared.

Outside of volleyball, Zoey says she prides herself on being caring, positive, and dedicated both on and off the court.

“I am a genuinely caring person and care about all people around me. Her game continues to evolve thanks to her clean mechanics, strong decision-making, and ability to consistently put hitters in good positions to score. Peyton delivers smooth, no-spin sets and already shows the ability to jump set effectively, adding another layer to her offensive game. Even when passes drift off the net, she does a great job placing the ball in hittable locations for her attackers while mixing up her sets to keep defenses guessing and all hitters involved. Her smooth back set and overall court awareness continue to separate her as a young setter with a very bright future.

“My goals for this camp are to build stronger defensive skills and get ready for high school and next club season,” Peyton told Prep Dig Nevada.

When asked what she hopes college coaches notice most about her game, Peyton pointed directly to her leadership qualities on the court.

“One thing that I really want college coaches to notice about how I play is my leadership and communication on the court,” she shared.

Peyton also described what she feels makes her effective as a setter and all-around player.

“I play setter and right side. I feel that my biggest strength on the court is being able to react fast, anticipate each play, and as a setter, being able to make the smartest decision for the team,” she said.

Outside of volleyball, Peyton continues to excel in the classroom as well.

“Something coaches should know about me is that my current school GPA is a 3.75, and I love the mountains.”

ZaAliyah has been turning heads all club season with her dominance and versatility on the court. Playing up multiple age groups with [program_tooltip program_id='636812' first='Vegas' last='United']'s 15s team as only a seventh grader, ZaAliyah continues to prove she belongs competing against older athletes. Whether she is setting, attacking from the outside, or making an impact in the middle, one thing is clear — she just wants to ball and is willing to do it from anywhere on the court. The six-rotation athlete boasts an impressive 3.7 GPA and has already established herself as a previous Prep Dig top performer. Recently, she showed off her offensive firepower after hammering an overpass down the two-foot line, while consistently using the block to her advantage and powering through defenders with confidence. With her skillset, leadership, and versatility, ZaAliyah has an extremely bright future ahead.

“I play setter, outside, and middle, and my biggest strength is my versatility and my ability to be a leader on the court,” ZaAliyah told Prep Dig Nevada.

Heading into the UA Next Middle School Camp, ZaAliyah hopes to continue growing her game while building connections and gaining exposure.

“My goals for this camp is to meet new people and coaches, get some major exposure, and get at least 1% better,” she said.

When asked what she hopes college coaches notice most about her game, ZaAliyah pointed directly to her all-around ability.

“I want college coaches to notice my versatility to the game,” she shared.

Off the court, ZaAliyah brings the same energy and confidence that shows up in her play, continuing to build a reputation as a hardworking athlete with a strong future ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='874810' first='Harper' last='Hobbs'] is quickly becoming a name to know in Nevada volleyball. The Tstreet Sierra Nevada 15-Jackson outside hitter is a force on the court with a bright future ahead. Hobbs brings strong energy, polished mechanics, and the ability to consistently swing hard and score points for her team. Her approach is smooth and explosive, allowing her to generate power while staying balanced through contact. She also shows impressive arm swing mechanics, creating a fast whip through the ball that helps her attack with both pace and control. Those technical strengths have made her a major contributor for Tstreet this season, most recently hitting a 10-foot ball on an overpass. Along with her talent on the court, Hobbs carries a 4.0 GPA and brings positive energy every time she steps on the floor.

“I play mainly outside and a little bit of right side, and I feel my biggest strength is my ability to read the court and react,” Hobbs told Prep Dig Nevada.

Heading into the UA Next Middle School Camp, Hobbs hopes to continue growing her game while competing alongside other motivated athletes.

“A few of my goals for this camp are to surround myself with likeminded people who are trying to play at the next level and connect with other players,” she said.

When asked what she hopes college coaches notice most, Hobbs pointed to her mindset and adaptability.

“My tenacity and my preparedness to adapt to the game at hand,” she shared.

Outside of volleyball, Hobbs says she keeps an optimistic mindset in everything she does and enjoys history and traveling.

Efuru has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young middle blockers in Nevada thanks to her athleticism, nonstop motor, and ability to impact matches on both sides of the ball. The high-flying Vegas Aces 14 Ren middle consistently finds open spots and corners with her impressive reach while showing the ability to run numerous middle attacks effectively. Whether she is busting through blocks offensively or making herself available throughout long rallies, Efuru's presence is constantly felt on the court. She helped Vegas Aces 14 Ren secure a national bid at Red Rock Rave and continues to separate herself by putting in extra work during breaks and outside of team practices. As she continues to grow physically and get stronger, there is little doubt she is going to become a major force in the middle.

“My position is middle blocker/middle hitter, and I love being a middle because it gives me a job every play,” Efuru told Prep Dig Nevada. “My biggest strength on the court is my effort and energy.
