[player_tooltip player_id='443137' first='Aaralyn' last='Smith'], a Class of 2028 libero and defensive specialist from Clear Springs High School in League City and [program_tooltip program_id='745880' first='Houston' last='Stellar'] Volleyball Club, is a back row competitor whose processing speed and floor coverage make her fantastic defensive player in the Houston area. She reads hitters earlier than a lot of players we see at her age and positions herself before the attack is finished, which is the clearest indicator that a libero has been trained to use her eyes rather than just her feet. Her passing is consistent under varying levels of serve pace and spin, and the accuracy she delivers gives her offense a clean starting point rather than a messy one to recover from. Clear Springs competes in a district full of physical, fast teams and holding her own in that environment throughout the season sharpens the kind of composure that does not rattle when the game gets fast. Aaralyn is a 2028 back row prospect from the Houston area who brings genuine defensive instincts and a technical passing game worth a college coach's attention. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='767301' first='Presley' last='Ortega'], a Class of 2028 libero and defensive specialist from Salado High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431061' first='Austin' last='Junior Volleyball'] Club, led her program in aces during a playoff run that included a victory over a team from a significantly larger classification, a detail that tells you immediately what kind of competitor she is. That match, a win over 6A Austin High in a warmup contest, required real composure and competitive toughness from every player on that roster, and the fact that she was leading the team in service performance through those moments says everything. At 5'8" she is one of the taller liberos available in this class and she uses that height advantage in her defensive platform and her reading angles in a way that noticeably expands her court coverage. She also contributes actively in the offense through ball control and sets when needed, which is the kind of full-game versatility that makes a back row player genuinely valuable rather than simply positionally functional. Presley is a 2028 prospect from Central Texas who plays bigger than her classification and deserves looks from programs across the state. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='713979' first='Piper' last='Branscomb'], a Class of 2028 libero and defensive specialist from Vandegrift High School in Austin and [program_tooltip program_id='448446' first='Austin' last='Skyline Juniors'] Volleyball Club, plays the back row with a competitive sharpness that stands out even among a 2028 class in Texas that has no shortage of talented defenders. Vandegrift competes in a brutal UIL 6A Region alongside programs that routinely send players to Division I, and earning and holding a back row role in that environment as a sophomore tells you the skill set is already ahead of schedule. At 5'3", she plays low to the ground and explodes in either direction with the lateral burst that makes compact liberos so difficult to score on, and her ability to control her platform even on tough angles tells you the technical foundation is genuinely sound. She is vocal and competitive between rallies, which is the kind of back row leadership that experienced coaches recognize immediately as the glue that holds a defensive unit together. Piper is a 2028 libero who also plays beach volleyball and has the overall skills to ignite any school's offense due to herball control. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.
