Top Wisconsin 2029s Leveling Up at Gauntlet

The 2029s are loading.  These athletes will still need to wait just over a year to “officially” begin their college recruiting journey, but they are already making an impact.  Wisconsin has a crew of 2029s who are already showing success playing an age group up.  Let's take a look at some rising 2029s who will be at the Prep Dig Gauntlet.    <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2026/05/Wisconsin2029.jpg?w=768" alt="" class="wp-image-988929" style="width:422px;height:auto"/></figure>    I forget that [player_tooltip player_id='734111' first='Claire' last='Baldwin'] is only a 2029. She has always played up an age group for [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] and is showing that she can compete with some of the top athletes in 16 Open. I have seen her play on the outside as well as the right side. Her backcourt game has evolved in an exciting way where she can hold her own in serve receive and transitions well from passing to attacking. Her swing and ability to score points is where she really excels. She hits heavy ball and is starting to use more angles and changing up her speeds. She was a key piece to the Sussex Hamilton state championship this past fall.     [player_tooltip player_id='545529' first='Pacyn' last='Stoffel'] made quite a splash on the high school volleyball scene this fall for Mosinee High School where she was one of the top attackers in all divisions and was the top freshman in the state when it comes to kills per set. She followed her high school volleyball season up with a trip to the state basketball tournament for Mosinee. On the club courts, she has been a six rotation outside hitter for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 16 Elite. She is an extremely physical attacker where she can hit for power, but is also showing finesse in her serve receive and defensive game. Her ceiling is extremely high where she will be able to do some exciting things this summer.     Another athlete who is playing up an age group is [player_tooltip player_id='734115' first='Lexi' last='Sheffield'] for Madtown 161 National who will be heading to Indy with a National division bid. Sheffield brings a maturity to the libero position where she can handle a high volume in serve receive, anticipates well to beat the ball to the spot, and is well trained in being able to take pace off a big swing. She preps at Edgewood out of Madison. I've written about quite a few Edgewood athletes this winter as they should have an exciting season coming up. Sheffield will also be on the Badger Region High Performance All Star team this upcoming summer.     Another athlete who is playing up age group for [program_tooltip program_id='428591' first='FC' last='Elite'] 16 Elite is [player_tooltip player_id='776459' first='Hadley' last='Stenavich']. Her length and athleticism is something to note where she has developed into a versatile attacker. She has been playing out of the middle where she has a big arm and shows lateral quickness to close the block on the pin. She has also been able to show she can score points in all positions along the front line where she can swing big with plenty of pace from the right side and outside as well.
