Who Was Hot Day 1 at the AU Players Championship

We picked a few players who we thought showed up and showed out and will be killing it for upcoming Nationals in Florida next month. While there is tons of talent, and worthy athletes, we are mentioning a few who took it to the next level that we saw Saturday during pool play. It's an exciting time for players who are looking for that date for their future to come to fruition. Need to know names from Saturday at Top Court Events Players Championship    If you're looking for talent you don't have to look further! Taylor is the complete package, and she is back and shining! With a explosive swing that packs a punch she can do some damage as a pin! With a super vertical, engaging her core, her lethal swing is hard to return. A fast approach leading to a big vertical she connects perfectly with the ball showing excellent control in her placement and trajectory. She easily adjusts herself to make plays work and is lethal from either pin with an freakish kill. She is solid in blocking and reads the opposition well moving with excellent footwork down the net with a big reach and great timing. Equally as effective on the back row digging up hard shots, getting there and passing up accurately she is reliable and puts herself out there to get the job done. She is confident, shows a good relationship with her setter and brings her magic to the court in a big way! She shows excellent enthusiasm on the court for her teammates and communicates well with them. An exciting prospect that any team would be lucky to have, game changer! Tournament stand out!     Izzy is a fast an effective player with a full skill set that she brings to the court. She has a great vertical for solid blocks and touches slowing the play down controlling the net. Her transitions off the net are fast with an excellent approach with great arm swing and footwork to deliver super kills getting on top of the ball and hitting that perfect downward trajectory finding empty court for her team between the block. She returns balls with a perfect foundation and a nice dropped shoulder showing great control to pass up accurately. She is vocal on the court, has a great ready light stance and moves with the play easily showing great court IQ and readiness. We love all aspects of her play and have absolutely no doubt she can take it to the next level!     Nadia stands out on the court not just because of her imposing height, but her talent draws attention. She is a presence at the net that make the opposition work around. She provides excellent coverage as a middle forcing the pins to swing around her with her timely blocks, big vertical and reach. She can dig up a blocked swing with fast reflexes and move on, she can tip down the line if needed and will send a ball to back court with precision to unmanned territory showing excellent court IQ. Her swing is lethal getting on top of the ball to drive them down and she will destroy an overpass. She has a great serve and can hold down the back row to dig balls with excellent composure showing a good platform and readiness. She covers well on the front line and is eyes up and ready. She brings a lot to the court and is enthusiastic to do so. Big future for her!     Jaelyn is an athlete going up the ladder. With consistent play and honed skills, she is making her presence felt on the court. She can produce big swings from the pin to release a great cross court kill that stems from a good approach with solid footwork and arm swing adjusting easily to make the set work. She is confident in digging up balls in the back row and shows a solid platform returning balls with accuracy and covers well moving fluidly with the play. She can serve up balls down the line and find the seams. One to watch!     Ramsie has all the key components to make a star player! Long gone are the days of players excelling at one skill, you have to be able to produce on the court and step up with more then multiple skills, and Ramsie does just that with a loaded tool box. She runs a smart court controlling the tempo and using her front row players with quick sets and controlled thought out action. She reads the opposition well and varies her sets to give her pins and middle the best opportunity to be successful and is cognizant of the fact of what will work best showing immense court IQ. She runs quicks sets giving the opposition no time to set up, makes accurate sets from a wonderful platform with great hands a great release. She can throw in a sneaky dump, performed well to produce campfire points. Ramsie will get to the ball and dig wholeheartedly but is smart to make decisions and let the ball be played by who can make the best up from a bad ball, showing maturity in what's best for the play handing out of system balls with thought. She shows trust in her players, and they perform well with her leading the court. A fast, smart player with loads of talent. Can't replace this kind easily!
