FAST Pre Nationals Liberos to See on the Court

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship is just a few weeks away, and teams from all over the country are now fine-tuning their games to get to Indianapolis at the end of the month in the best possible shape.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Teams from Texas will have a good opportunity to do so this weekend, when one of the most competitive warm-up tournaments in the Houston area, the FAST Pre Nationals will be held. The event will go on from Saturday to Sunday in three venues in the area, reuniting around 100 club teams, which are split into six age groups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some really exciting prospects will be on the court this weekend, and we're now presenting a few of them. She's an excellent defender, who can occupy any of three spots on the back row and stands out for her ability to read opponents and adjust her positioning accordingly. Schroeder also does well with her passing, moving quickly to the ball and using her ball control to deliver it to her setter. In her first year with the club, she serves as their back row general, leading with words and actions and performing at a high level. Rendon is very reliable and consistent in serve-receive, taking charge of a large portion of the court and demonstrating calm and superior technique to efficiently handle the different serves that go her way. The libero also delivers on defense, making an impact with her positioning and ball control. She converted into libero after starting as an outside hitter a few years ago and has developed into a standout in the position. Her defensive instincts are excellent, and consistently put her into spots to make plays. Ludwig is very quick when moving for the ball on the back row and doesn't shy away when a big swing comes her way, using her body very well to take the pressure off of it.
