Right Sides Who Made an Impact at FAST Pre Nationals 17s Division

She split her time between setting and hitting duties in their 6-2 playing system and was very effective in both roles. Schneider was one of the team's most reliable offensive options, combining solid athleticism and vision to put the ball down. Very tall and physical, she was very good on the right for them, scoring at a great clip. Byers-Veal took full advantage of her length and impressive vertical to make contact with the ball at a very high point and overcome opposing blockers, but also showed great vision to pick her shots, diversifying her offense intelligently. Despite playing on the right, she stood out for her ability to add to the team's volume with strong all-around skills. White was very active on the back row, playing a big role in the team's serve-receive system and coming up with impressive digs on the right. She also served extremely well and consistently got opponents out of system. Capable of playing as a setter and a right side hitter, she stood out offensively, being among her team's top scoring options. Duarte got off the floor very well and showed excellent vision to put the ball down with well-angled swings. She made contact with the ball at a very high point and was able to hit it in different directions, proving very hard to stop when she hit at a sharp angle.
