Setters Who Led Their Teams at FAST Pre Nationals 17s Division

A tall setter, she kept her team's offense running very smoothly with her intelligent distribution. Always accurate and making excellent decisions when on the ball, she managed to get the most out of each of her hitters, putting them in the best possible position to score play after play. She was very creative when running her team's offense, feeding her middles very frequently and moving her hitters around when in system. Palermo's craftiness also appeared when she attempted to score on setter dumps, as she used many different techniques to surprise opposing blockers and defenders, even going for a full swing when working with free balls. She had some of the best setting hands in the entire event and used them to run a creative, fast-paced offense with her team. Hall used her middles very often, even finding ways to feed them when working with passes off the net, and was very accurate with her locations at the pins, even when setting against the flow. Her well-balanced and consistent distribution made her team's offense run smoothly over the weekend. Spearman was excellent with her decision-making and her ability to quickly get to the ball when working with passes off the net gave her multiple setting options every time she went for it.
