Texas Middles to See in Action at the National Championship

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The biggest moment of the season has arrived for club volleyball teams from all over the country, as, starting on Thursday, the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship will take place in Indiana.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The tournament that will crown the national champions in the U14, U15, U16 and U17 age groups will reunite as many as 2,119 teams at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium until July 3, with 24 divisions in competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dozens of Texas teams will make the trip up North, and the absolute best players from the Lone Star State will be in action over the next few days trying to help their teams cap their seasons off with national titles. The team's most physical player, she offers them a massive presence at the net and is very active and productive on both sides of the ball. Wilson's blocking is among the very best in the state, as she makes the most of her impressive wingspan and moves very well at the net, meaning there are very few occasions in which opposing setters manage to get out of the picture. Besides being big, her blocking is also very technical, as she reads opponents very well and closes out the space efficiently. Rinn is an impactful blocker who stands out for her mobility to go from pin to pin and for how aggressively she plays, pressing opponents with her arms and taking away offensive options from them. She's an important offensive weapon for her team, swinging quick sets in front of her setter or behind her with a high level of efficiency. Besides being 6'2", Ryan also jumps well, and she uses that extra split-second in the air to quickly turn her body to her left, opening up other options and making it very hard for opponents to stop her. She's still somewhat new to volleyball, but has made great strides in her few years playing the game and is an invaluable piece for her team at the net. Chandler is very energetic with her play and hits a very quick set in the middle that forces opposing blockers to commit early to her. She has some serious firepower and can hit different sets at a high level. Her blocking is aggressive, and she gets a lot of touches up at the net, either stopping opponents or slowing them down. Constantly present in USA Volleyball training camps, she's incredibly athletic and complements it with tremendous hard work and a very high volleyball IQ. Wiggles, as she's known, continues to get better every day, and her blocking is feared by opponents all over the country, as despite being tall and physical, she reads the game extremely well and is always one step ahead when it comes to getting to the pin and pressing them.
