The USA Volleyball Junior National Club Championship brings together the best club programs in the country under one roof in Indianapolis, and Prep Dig will be on the floor to scout the field from the very start. As part of the pre-tournament showcase on June 24th at the Indiana Convention Center, several Prep Dig state-ranked prospects and those who are currently unranked but also very intriguing prospects to be from across the country will step onto the court before the main event begins. College coaches looking to get an early read on the next wave of talent would do well to circle the following names before the tournament tipping schedule fills their notebooks. Let's take a look at a few of the names who will be in attendance.

Miss Steers is coming up in a Brownsburg volleyball program that has produced legitimate outside hitting talent in recent seasons. Standing at 5'9", she has the frame and strong arm swing to follow that path forward. The traits worth tracking at this stage are her closing speed in transition, the consistency of her arm swing mechanics against top competition, and how she handles serve receive when the pace of serves increases against national-level competition. After watching her film online, you can see a very high ceiling to continue to improve. I think our court coaches will love what they see from her on the pins. Stay tuned for our report after the event.

Mia has the length and natural power to be a legitimate weapon at the pin and as a member of the 2027 class she is entering a stage of her high school career where recruiting timelines accelerate quickly. We will be looking for key attributes from her that will be on full display in both the positional drills and the scrimmage portion of the event. With her recruitment window, the showcase is a meaningful opportunity for her to put her tools on display in front of a national audience of college coaches and scouts. Her height and skill set combination speak for themselves in her ranking according to Prep Dig Indiana. My eyes will be fixated on her to see if she has what it takes to move up that list.

[player_tooltip player_id='774279' first='Jersie' last='Rodriguez'] has been described by Prep Dig scouts in past tournament coverage as a six-rotation force on the court, the kind of evaluation that signals a complete outside hitter rather than a specialist who comes off the floor in the back row. At 5'7", her game will need to be defined by quickness, all-around ball control contribution, and the competitive consistency that allows a hitter to stay on the floor for every rotation. As a 2028 prospect, she has real time remaining to refine her game and her ability to contribute in serve receive, defense, and attack simultaneously is the trait college coaches should be watching for most closely on June 24th. What I am looking forward to watching in person the most is how she pursues the ball in emergency situations along with her first ball passing skills.
