We currently have over 150 girls registers between the 4 events with 3 weeks still to go! We get a lot of questions about rankings and what is a way to get higher in the rankings.. well one of the best ways is to be at one of these showcases against girls that are your peers that are fighting to move up in the rankings as well. We will be there evaluating you against peers your age and you can make a very loud statement during this showcase about why you should be ranked higher. This is a golden opportunity to demonstrate and show the Prepdig team what you are capable of! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Although we are excited to see all the athletes during this event, I wanted to highlight 5 who I am looking forward to seeing live at the event! She is the type of player you can always count on to contribute in each match, set, and point to do something positive. She is an all around type of middle as well, as she is a top level hitter and blocker as well. As a hitter Taylin might be one of the best at our showcase, she is someone who is going to standout with her ability to terminate balls and score against the others from her class. She may be one of the top scores in each match when we get to game play as she connects with any setter she works with. Most importantly, good luck if you are the middle that is matched up against her because you might be in for a long day! She is a high level blocker who routinely shuts down middles and pin hitters. She is someone who can contribute with her offense, defense, and ability to run a high tempo offense. One of the better spots about her game is her ability to run her middles from any type of pass, they are never out of a play as she has the technique and ability to hit them even when it isn't the best pass. Zoe also does a great job in her ability to keep defenses honest with her timely dumps. She seems to score a point or two a set with her dumps and just gives her hitters even more space as defenses and blockers have to be honest about that. She runs a great game as a setter, keeping all her hitters involved and always ready for a set. She has the court IQ to run the hitters who need to be set, and always seems to make the smart play. Currently ranked in two states between being in California for club and school ball here in AZ, she might be the only athlete I know that is currently in two ranking systems for her class. That just shows the level of talent Rylie is and how good of a player she is! Rylie is a force on offense, scoring from all over the floor and regardless if she is set in system or out of system she always finds a way to score points. Where she is doing better at and stands out as a outside hitter is her ability to contribute with her defense, not just scoring points. She is an excellent blocker and someone who can play defense all over the floor. A pin hitter who can contribute in more then one way really shows their level of talent and Rylie is someone who can do it all as a pin. Alia is able to play both pins which adds a layer to her overall ability and shows her versatility. She can terminate from all places along the front row and seems to score regardless of where she is hitting from. Most impressively she reads hitters well, and plays disciplined floor defense while being able to transition quickly from defense to attack. Alia is what I would call a well rounded six rotation pin hitter with the versatility to contribute offensively on both pins, stabilize serve receive, and impact the match at the net and in the backcourt. She has the opportunity to really show up at this showcase and make some waves with her game play for all the scouts. Tessa is a fast and athletic libero who moves extremely well on the floor and gets a ton of great touches on the ball, even when she leaves her feet and lays out she seems to always get a playable touch and helps her team stay in system more over not. She also is a good server and has a great jump serve that often will help her team in keep the other out of system. She is precise with her placement and really adds and element to her game with her serving ability. Tessa is an all around great defender and really will have a chance to showcase that and rise in our rankings once our showcase ends. A libero early in her career and now has grown and has the explosiveness to be an outside hitter. She really is someone who can fill a stat sheet with her game play and is a coaches dream with how well she can play multiple positions. She is a full 6 rotation outside hitter who can bring a lot with her game in terms of her defense and serve receive. She is an excellent passer who reads the game super wells and moves with flawless footwork. Elle is athletic enough and has the technique to pass and play a lot of balls other pins wouldn't be able to get to. She also complements her game well by being a dynamic hitter as well and can terminate balls at the net as well. I think this showcase will show a lot of what Elle can do and really raise her profile with the other scouts!
