Dallas Freshman Showcase Top Performers Vol 2

Prep Dig Texas Showcases are back! We had some big events that were held at the Courtside Sports Center on July 19th. The Freshman showcase for the 2030 grad class was amazing! These events always bring together athletes from across the state looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. There were tons of awesome players that we evaluated from their awesome production. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. Let's take a closer look at three players who earned Top Performer honors at the Dallas Freshman showcase.    We know of Miss Wagner at Prep Dig because of both seeing her in previous showcases and throughout the club season. She is a very talented 5'9" pin attacker in the class of 2030. Her frame already draws attention and the performance she put together at the Dallas Freshman Showcase gave evaluators something to attach to that physical profile. Her approach timing was consistent throughout the day and she attacked with purpose rather than just power, finding angles and adjusting her shot selection when the block made the obvious answer unavailable. Court coaches noted her willingness to compete in serve receive and stay on the floor in all six rotations. At her height and at this age, she is a prospect that college staffs in Texas and beyond should be tracking from right now. We will be watching her freshman season very closely and you should as well. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.     Amari plays both setter and right side and at the Dallas Freshman Showcase she showed enough in both roles to make the Top Performer recognition feel well earned. As a setter she showed the decision-making and court awareness that allows a system to function smoothly, and when she stepped into the right side role her attacking instincts and competitive tenacity translated immediately. We loved her mechanics as a setter and it shows that she has put in a lot of work in her craft. She competed with energy throughout every segment of the day and connected with her teammates in a way that made her easy to find on a busy floor. Dual-position players who can genuinely contribute in both roles are uncommon at this age and Jackson is a player worth keeping a close eye on in the 2030 class. KyleeClaire carries a dual designation as both an outside hitter and setter, which is a combination that suggests a player with volleyball IQ above what you typically find in the class of 2030. She earned her Top Performer award at the Dallas Freshman Showcase by competing with consistency and intelligence across every segment of the event, contributing offensively from the pin and showing the ability to operate in the back row as well. Court coaches responded to how quickly she processed the game around her and how rarely she made the same mistake twice. They also really loved her attitude and willingness to step in for other players to give them a rest. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
