Amari plays both setter and right side and at the Dallas Freshman Showcase she showed enough in both roles to make the Top Performer recognition feel well earned. As a setter she showed the decision-making and court awareness that allows a system to function smoothly, and when she stepped into the right side role her attacking instincts and competitive tenacity translated immediately. We loved her mechanics as a setter and it shows that she has put in a lot of work in her craft. She competed with energy throughout every segment of the day and connected with her teammates in a way that made her easy to find on a busy floor. Dual-position players who can genuinely contribute in both roles are uncommon at this age and Jackson is a player worth keeping a close eye on in the 2030 class.
