Annelise is currently an unranked prospect in the 2030 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because they have not been released yet. She plays for Cornerstone Christian School and also for the Alamo volleyball club. Miss Wagner has definitely made a solid name for herself even before she has stepped foot onto a high school court. We saw her this summer at our first ever middle school event and we were very impressed with what we saw. Not only did she show up to compete against some top high school competition, but she actually shined very bright under the spotlight. As I watched her play with no fear, I was truly in awe of how competitive she actually is. Routinely, she unleashed some big time swings for kills and had some shut down blocks that had everyone impressed. I love the effort and motor that she plays with on both sides of the ball and think she has amazing potential to be an outstanding recruit in a few years. If you have not heard her name yet, I strongly encourage you to put her name on your short list of athletes to watch. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Miss Wagner is currently an unranked prospect in the 2030 class according to our Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released her class. She will play volleyball at Cornerstone Christian High School and currently plays for the Alamo volleyball club. One thing that you notice about Annelise is how she uses a high volleyball IQ and stellar court vision to find open holes in the defense to score. She is constantly scanning the court and moving her shot around to keep the defense guessing. When we mentioned to the players that they needed to try to not hit the same shot twice in a row, Miss Wagner listened well and proceeded to use off-speed shots and hard swings to score very efficiently. What I really love is how she already gets very deep with her touch point in order to create momentum in her attack approach. When players use great transition footwork at a young age, you can tell that they are coachable and that they have been trained extremely well. We will definitely be putting her down in our database for players to watch over the next few seasons to see if she can make our State Ranking List. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase.
