The month that brought us the first direct communication between the 2028 Class and college coaches resulted in a large swath of the group committing programs on the next level. The South Tama junior is a difference maker on the right side of the net as a powerful right-handed attacker with size, long arms and leaping ability. Zmolek has worked hard on her skills and turned herself into a six-rotation presence. She ends points with high efficiency and is an imposing blocker. Her technique continues to improve with plenty of room for more growth in that endeavor. The CIA standout also shows an aptitude for swinging from the outside pin. Zmolek ranked second among South Tama Trojans with 177 kills (.349) last fall. The Linn-Mar junior played up with the Six Pack 17s this past club season, helping that squad reach the USAV National Tournament this summer in Indianapolis. Lampe limits mistakes when she plays and controls the action with a calm demeanor. Keen court vision helps her find the attackers with an advantage and the sets are on point. Tall with long arms and athleticism, Lampe can end points with her swing and turn back opponents with a potent block. She's sound in serve receive and communicates well with teammates. She earned third-team all-state recognition in Class 4A as a sophomore last season after producing 186 kills (.426) and 59.0 blocks. Hoegh took another step forward this club campaign playing up with Salty 17s. The tall, long-limbed athlete is an imposing presence in the middle of the net as a big leaper with a heavy swing that can put the ball down into holes in the defense. She's also intimidating with a block that's effective and technically sound. There is little she can't do on the court. After shining at setter during the last club season, she shifted to a pin in the fall in racking up 323 kills (.284) in helping Denver win another Class 2A championship. Murch flipped back to setter for this club year and likely will fill that role for the Cyclones in 2026. She's as steady as they come playing the position, making the right play and limiting mistakes. Murch is smart and flows well with the action. She can put the ball down or dump it into holes in the defense. She's a sound all-around volleyball player that can complete most of the tasks on the court. She's been a key cog for Bettendorf as a freshman and sophomore, and should take her game to another level there in 2026. Harn also has been a key component to successful Six Pack teams. She's physical. Harn attacks with power generated off of an impressive vertical leap. Athletic, she flashes quickness and sharp reflexes to stand out in the back row and the agility to defend the net.
