Impact Players Shine at the Prep Dig Sizzle

It's a chance to see how new lineups come together, how players have grown during the offseason, and which athletes are ready to take on bigger responsibilities. While there is still plenty of work to be done before the matches truly count, the Sizzle provides us a glimpse of what is to come during the prep season. She does a solid job distributing the ball, spreading the offense, and putting her hitters in positions to succeed. Beyond her work as a setter, she is a solid defender from right back, showcasing that she is a true defender. She was a key contributor for her NDA team as they battled their way through the Sarah Franklin Bracket before falling in a hard fought championship match to Brillion. White reads well, covers plenty of court, and is a reliable passer in serve receive. She's an explosive athlete with a strong vertical that allows her to be a major presence in the middle. Her quickness, combined with her impressive reach, makes her a difficult matchup for opposing blockers and defenders. She has carried that momentum into summer high school play and continues to be one of the go to attackers on the court. She has a heavy arm, does a great job reading the block, and doesn't force swings that aren't there. Whether she is hammering the ball cross court, crushing it down the line, or finding an open seam in the defense, she has a knack for scoring points. While I have been impressed with her big, powerful swing over the past couple of years, the biggest growth in her game has come in the back row. She has put in the work to become a more reliable passer and has also made noticeable strides when attacking out of system.
