Hagglund picked up right where she left off after a strong club season. She has carried that momentum into summer high school play and continues to be one of the go to attackers on the court. She has a heavy arm, does a great job reading the block, and doesn’t force swings that aren’t there. Whether she is hammering the ball cross court, crushing it down the line, or finding an open seam in the defense, she has a knack for scoring points. She is simply tough to slow down and is a big problems for opposing teams.

Bri is definitely a player we expect to make an impact at the Sizzle. The 2028 standout has quickly established herself as one of the top players in her class, proving she can affect the game in every area of the court. Last season, Bri finished with 301 kills and 359 digs, showcasing her ability to be a difference-maker both offensively and defensively. With her all-around skill set and high level of play, we’re excited to see her compete in Appleton and get another look at one of the best players in the 2028 class.

She is a high flyer! Brianna Hagglund Brianna Hagglund OH/RS Kimberly | 2028 State WI has been exciting to watch over the past year where she was a key piece to the success of Kimberly last fall where they advanced to the D1 state tournament and has been a key player for FC Elite 16 Elite.  Hagglund has an aggressive approach with a fast arm that allows her to create a lot of chaos for the other side of the net.  She has even played a little libero in her career, she will be an exciting prospect at the next level. 

Brianna Hagglund Brianna Hagglund OH/RS Kimberly | 2028 State WI is coming off a big high school season for Kimberly as the top point scorer for the Papermakers where they advanced to the D1 state tournament.  There is an explosive style to her game where she is aggressive, she isn’t afraid to take a big rip, she is going to make something happen.  This is going to cause chaos for the other side of the net and generate momentum on her own side.  This FC Elite 16 Elite team had a strong finish at Triple Crown and will be looking to get a bid to Indy this weekend. 

Despite only being a sophomore, Bri was an absolute dominant presence on the court for Kimberly. She is just an all-around player who knows how to play aggressively while minimizing errors. Her relentless and fearless play helped Kimberly battle against a talented Waunakee team. She recorded 11 kills and only one error, hitting 0.345. Bri also had an ace, with no service errors, and 14 digs.

I watched Bri Hagglund play a handful of times this past club season, but mostly at the libero position for FC Elite .  Seeing her play for Kimberly on the outside is sure a treat.  She is a high flyer with a violent swing.  She has an extremely fast arm and is able to create chaos on the other side of the net. Kimberly is one of the more balanced teams you’ll find offensively, but Hagglund has emerged as a go to pin for the Papermakers where she has 91 kills, good for 2.2 kills per set.
