Incoming Freshman Working To Make An Impact

This group of freshman outside hitters has been working all summer to prepare for the jump to high school, and their development has been impossible to miss. She doesn't take plays off; she works hard in transition, and she keeps finding ways to be offensively available. What's most impressive is her desire to keep building every part of her game. She fights for every point, loves the small stuff, and isn't afraid to do the work that often goes unnoticed. We will see her become an even more complete pin hitter as she continues to add strength and confidence to her attacking game. She plays with confidence but is always looking for the next opportunity to improve, whether that's in serve receive, transition, or becoming a more consistent attacker. It's a challenging mindset to teach. She's not afraid to go big; she can stay in long rallies, and she continues to work on being a more complete player in all six rotations. The thing that I notice most is that drive to get better. What I love most about her is that she isn't satisfied with where she is today and continues to work to become a better all-around player.
