Volk was one of my favorite players to watch that day. She is the type of player every coach wants on the court because she does so many things well. She is a solid passer with a quick, effective swing that keeps defenses guessing, and she can also put pressure on the other team with her serving. Volk brings a steady, reliable presence while still being athletic and dynamic, which is a rare combination for a younger player. Her consistency, competitiveness, and aggressive style of play made her one of the standouts at the freshman showcase.

What is remarkable about Sutton Volk Sutton Volk 5'8" | OH/DS/L Lakeville South | 2030 MN is how badly she wants to get better. She plays with confidence but is always looking for the next opportunity to improve, whether that’s in serve receive, transition, or becoming a more consistent attacker.
