The incoming Waukee freshman and Ohana back-row dynamo is cat quick in the back row, scooting fast laterally to cover a lot of court. She tracks the ball well in serve-receive and gets to her spots lining up behind the block. Li is technically sound, digging the ball up and delivering crisp passes. The incoming Wolves freshman brings an already impressive lefty swing to the pin, as she flashed time and time again during the Prep Dig Iowa Stock Up Showcase during July in Clive. The power is advanced for her age with a chance for more with added strength. Heffernan is a good athlete that can jump and move well laterally. She shows a good feel for the block. By the looks of what the Wildcats return and what they're adding in the freshman class, they won't be sneaking up on anyone for awhile. Emick is a middle hitter packed with potential based on what we saw from her at the Prep Dig Iowa Stock Up Showcase during July in Clive. There's height, long arms, bounce off the court and fundamentals coming together to create an intimidating force in the middle of the net. The IKM-Manning and Rise 712 pin consistently found ways to put the ball down, flashing an advanced feel for producing quality swings from various angles. There's power and precision. Athleticism and agility are plentiful as is an advanced feel for the sport. Eischeid displays a good knack for the block with room to grow there. The Maroons are excellent at developing back-row prospects, and they have a lot to work with here with Sarcone after seeing her compete at the Prep Dig Iowa Stock Up Showcase during July in Clive. A taller defensive specialist, she covers a lot of ground with longer strides. She's also agile and quick with sharp reflexes. A keen read on tracking the ball in serve-receive makes her proficient in that endeavor.
