Liberos Gaining Ground in Updated Kansas 2027 Rankings

Nash logged nearly 400 digs last fall, cementing her spot among the top defenders in the Wichita area. We've alluded to KC Power 17-1's quarterfinal breakthrough in 17 Open, but Davis and 17-2 just accomplished the same feat in 17 USA. Davis has played in every DS role imaginable with KC Power, allowing her to compile a complete, diverse highlight film. She digs dimes down the line and will take up plenty of space in the serve-receive pattern. Beashore frustrated opposing attackers throughout the spring, and she was especially productive when playing close to home. The SJA senior enjoyed a strong short at January's MLK tournament and helped 17 Elite clinch an Open berth through the Show Me Qualifier. This is one of the most unique 2027 defenders in the Kansas City scene, as Beashore might reassume an attacking role with the Thunder this fall. Blosser does her best work in the middle-back area, where she operated through much of her junior season at Perry-Lecompton. She isn't afraid to take the initiative on roll shots in the campfire or tips to the deep corner. Howe then led MAVS KC 17 Premier's backcourt to several fruitful qualifier outings, from the Sunshine Classic to the Show Me Qualifier.
