Middles Playing With Passion at the Stock Up Showcase

The Lincoln prospect will head into her sophomore season with the size, skill, and power to make an impact for her team. She can play outside or in the middle and has excellent athleticism and a hammer arm. Parts of her game are raw, but she stood out when she rocketed down kills with her burst off the floor and heavy arm swing. "Advanced, physical, and competitive" is how one coach described the Ballard freshmen's game. Pietz went toe-to-toe with some very tough upperclassman middles and held her own.
