<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Four members of the Tennessee Performance Volleyball 16 Maverick team moved up significantly in the latest rankings. The team finished the season 44-12 with four tournament championships. Waller uses her size with authority. Waller is tough to stop when setters put balls at her 10-6 attack point. The United States National Development Team member sees the openings on the floor and smacks balls toward them with precision. Her textbook approach and final two steps let her put great power into balls. It helps that Waller also keeps her hips wide and facing balls. Robinson mixes in hard and soft shots, keeping opponents honest. She has good court vision and has a quick vertical jump to take swings before blocks form. Robinson's aggressive play at the net also played a big role in 16 Maverick's success. She keeps her body aimed toward targets and makes the simple passes. Myhr takes minimal steps to the ball. Myhr watches opposing hitters well and does what she can to take away their strengths. Playing high-level competition has helped Myhr develop a fast pace on the court. Keith has produced hard angling cut shots. Her crosses and line shots are also difficult to handle. She tips over blocks to shallow zones and does a great job taking advantage of what defenses are giving her. Pettit takes outstanding final two steps on her net approach allowing her to put sharp angles on balls, making it a challenge for opponents. Pettit makes good in-air adjustments to what defenses are giving her.
