Waller’s touch point is 10 feet and six inches giving her an exceptional attack point. Waller uses it well to desposit balls all over the court. Waller earned an invite to the United States National Development Team as a result. Waller has a textbook five-step approach, extension and finish to terminate balls. Waller understands angles well, using them to hit balls hard off blocks and out of bounds for big points. She keeps her hips wide and gets on top of balls for outstanding power, especially on slides. Waller attacks seams and holes in double blocks relentlessly and places overpassed balls down with authority.

Shaun Waller Shaun Waller 6'3" | MB Centennial | 2028 State #14 Nation TN of TPV 16 Maverick can be big time.  She changes the game with her athleticism and length as one of the top middle blockers in the Class of 2028.  What is so impressive is how smooth she is with her movement, she makes it look effortless.  When she approaches she can thump it on the ten foot line, use the deep court, or can be creative with her tips and throws.  She is part of a really exciting Tennessee Performance Volleyball (TPV) squad who has been on fire this 2026 season.  Waller as well as plenty of her teammates will prep for an exciting recruiting journey on June 15. 

Waller takes great advantage of her size and athleticism. She rises high above the net, gets on top of balls and slams balls to the ground on slides and other routes. She’s extremely effective on solo and double blocks. Waller is coachable and has great IQ at the net, making sure not to reach over before she can legally play balls. Waller said she’s been working on reading cues from the setters when working to put balls down.
