She continued getting herself back into transition, stayed available for another opportunity and remained engaged when the rally moved away from her. Young outside hitters can easily become focused on the moments when they receive the set, but Aleeya showed an understanding that her responsibility begins well before the attack and continues after it. She kept working through changing lineups and unfamiliar connections instead of waiting for the perfect situation to showcase her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That willingness to keep competing gave Aleeya a presence that extended beyond individual plays. She showed confidence without allowing one repetition—good or bad—to dictate the next, and that ability to reset is important for an athlete still building her high-school identity. As her ball control, attacking range and six-rotation responsibilities continue developing, the work habits she displayed at Stock Up give her something valuable to build upon.
