The speed of her arm swing provided her with opportunities to attack from the outside. At the same time, her exceptional defensive skills were able to keep rallies alive and provide confidence for her teammates. Her defensive instincts were also evident; she would not hesitate to make a dive for a dig or battle for the next touch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most distinctive quality about Elianna's game was the amount of enthusiasm she brought to each court. She continually supported her teammates by cheering them on when they had successful plays, celebrating their accomplishments, and encouraging them after making errors. Irrespective of the scoreboard, she displayed a positive attitude and created an atmosphere in which every player wanted to compete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At this time (a 2030 outside hitter) from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and [program_tooltip program_id='428672' first='Milwaukee' last='Sting'] 14 Gold, Elianna is displaying the qualities that coaches look for in a leader at such a young age. Her ability to demonstrate both athleticism and sportsmanship through her efforts, supportiveness and overall positivity reflects everything that the Avoli Committed Athlete award represents.
