Bountiful vs Davis Top Performers

One of the first UHSAA matches of the 2026 season I got to catch in action featured the Bountiful Redhawks hosting the Davis Darts. With every game I cover, I will be highlighting the prospects who stood out on the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Tuesday, August 4, the Redhawks defeated the Darts in a 3-set victory (25-21, 25-19, 25-21) to secure their first win of the season. Bountiful enters this season with a different look after their quarterfinal exit and the graduation of a few key players who contributed heavily to their success. She terminated from both pins and positioned herself as a dominant force for her team this season. Even after an error, she stayed aggressive and would find a way to score off the very next set. As a setter, she has a consistent take and delivery to the pins with good footwork. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">An aspect of Piper's game that stood out to me was her ability to locate her middles and keep them involved in the offense. She established herself as a backcourt leader with her speed, control, and solid passing. Lylah's court vision and anticipation shone through in her movement to the ball and her ability to keep it on target.
