New (To Us) Recruits In The ‘27 Rankings

The new-and-improved rankings for the class of 2027 were released earlier today, and a ton of eye-opening play produced a ton of movement. In today's edition, we'll focus on five new (to us) additions to the class of 2027 rankings, where they're committed and what their future might hold if not.    Big and physical, Kendall is more than capable of being an M1 or an M2 at the next level. SEMO's commit will find a lot of opportunity to take advantage of her size and reach, as the Ohio Valley Conference doesn't have a lot of that coming in this recruiting cycle. With an attack touch near or over ten feet, Miss Corbin is able to go over through and around blocks at ease, while reading-and-reacting well as a blocker.     Active in all aspects of the game, Rylee is an exceptional setter with upper-level location and athleticism. Able to get to each and every pass and make the sets hittable, Miss Drummond should be a plug and play option for the Mastodons this coming fall on her set location alone. On defense, she's above-average with her size on the block, and defends her position well from the floor. As a well-rounded player, Rylee has the tools and the talent to have a solid collegiate career.     Gibson Southern isn't exactly known for their high level of volleyball. However, it's hard to ignore the size and strength that Addy will bring to High Point. A full 6'3”, with an attack touch to match, Miss Snow makes a lot of blockers in southwestern Indiana look irrelevant no matter where the ball is set. Whether on offense or defense, Addy will be a force to be reckoned with when she arrives at the next level.     Springy and athletic, Jorja has turned her high-end athleticism into a commitment with D3 power Wittenberg. Able to use her quick feet and even quicker transition to beat blockers to the punch, Miss Timm is also outstanding at court vision—-knowing if and when she needs to take a little off the swing to score points. I haven't seen much on the order of ball control, but since she's trained at Boiler Juniors in recent years, I'm sure it's well-rounded and solid.     From tiny Owen Valley in western Indiana, Abree is a high-energy, full-go, no-quit type of outside hitter who can do a little of everything on the court. Although undersized for this position in this class, her ability to do everything from receive serve to defend to attack to score points from behind the base line adds to an already well-rounded athletic package. If you need a solid, six-rotation outside that will be a steal for a smaller school, Abree is the person you need to focus on.
