Some Top Performers and Big Time Players at IL Stock Up Showcase

Was fun watching the talent in the building at the [program_tooltip program_id='432009' first='Sky' last='High'] Facility for the Illinois Stock Up Showcase! Tons of skill and tons of athletes just giving it there all. Such good volleyball to watch and so much skill at all the positions. These are some of the top performers and other big time players her showed out!    Morgan did a nice job shaping the ball with passes and digs making sure it got right to the setter where it needed to be. Played with good energy and was able to make some difficult digs. Watched her during gameplay and that's where she really got my attention. She was passing dimes all during the showcase and just has that grit I like from my back row DS/L. Earned Top Performer honors!     Rodriguez did a great job during the showcase. Was picked as a Top Performer because she was steady during all the drills and played great in gameplay. Showed some really quick reflexes, always in control and was a really good passer. Strong platform, unafraid and confident. Not her first rodeo was ready to go! Back row ready!     Burnham is a prospect for sure and was a Top Performer at the Illinois showcase. Good size 2029 and 6ft 1 ... moves really well, athletic and smacks the ball for kills. Watched her get a lot of kills and can swing from anywhere. Watched her get some blocks too. Good lift when she jumps and just is a problem for other players at the net. Once you see her you just have to keep watching to see what she does next. Very skilled player with size and power.     Munoz is your prototype back row player. She is a leader on the court saw her helping some players on the court, encouraging and with a lot of skill. Great attitude and a great teammate. Watched her make a few nice digs ... moves her feet really well and is always where she needs to be. Nice strong platform and opens up well on tight serves or hits. Unbothered by any of the competition as she plays for 1st Alliance Gold and has played in many big matches and games.     Charles was showing out at the IL showcase. Saw her record multiple kills using power and a nice vertical. She went on a streak where I saw her get 3 big kills in a row during gameplay. Also defends the position very well. She was playing OH and used her athleticism to keep plays alive, diving on the floor to keep the point going. Lot of skill and is there to compete. Amaya had a great showcase and showed off her skills! Keep an eye on Amaya!     Chesna makes hits out of everything. Saw a couple of sets she got that were off and she still turned them into big swings. Watched her record some nice kills during drill play and scrimmage and is just a true Volleyball talent. Gets on top of the ball really well, tracks it well when hitting and passing. Does anything you want on the court. Was a top performer and the Avoli pick for her attitude, demeanor, a good teammate and outstanding skill. Fun to watch.     No surprise here ... Shirk was great. Earned Top Performer and is just wise beyond her years. Makes it look effortless just a born ready volleyball talent. Soft touch when she sets always on the money for hitters, can hit from the setter position or that RS position as well. Left handed can deliver power or just smart plays. Shirk plays with a calmness and steadiness that you like out of your setter. Things are under control when Shirk is on the court.    It's fun picking top performers but I always feel bad as so many girls deserve it. These 7 players showed off their skill during the Illinois Stock up Showcase.
