YOU HEARD IT! She hits the ball really hard and she gets all of it. Really gets on top of the ball and it's what they say is a "heavy ball." She has a hammer for an arm and I watched her get multiple kills and hits. Rudman was picked as a Top Performer as she was swinging away at the IL Showcase. Athletic moves well on the court. Can make all the sets. Back set, jumping set, quicks you name it. Competed really well on the court. Defends and made good plays for her squad at the IL showcase. Her agility allows her to get to the ball and deliver dimes to hitters. During scrimmages she was competing at a high level. Good size at the setter position and moved very well. Tons of good sets to hitters and was a gamer. She stuck out as a setter who has all the tools. Good size, good hands, can get you touches on D at the net, can even put a swing on the ball from the RS position and run your squad. A couple of the coaches and scouts said the same thing she's just sneaky good. Makes really good sets good touch, blocks better than her height may suggest, and can put a swing on you from the RS spot. I watched her play with an elite MB on her court and she was right up there with her in helping close blocks. That type of stuff helps you win games and shut opponents down. She holds a really steady platform on serve receive no unwanted movement just good training and passes. Also notice she had a laser standing serve that was hard to handle. Had a good nose for where to be on the court and competed well against some elite talent on her court especially during scrimmage. I saw her making some great swings from the RS hitter spot. Going down the line past the block was impressive. She is athletic covers the court well on defense keeping plays alive. On her profile says DS/L as well I can totally see it. She passed well and could dig balls well for sure. Really gets on top of the ball and the trajectory is down and hard ... watched her get multiple kills throughout the showcase. Not just a hit for power hitter either, was smart ... watched her make some nice roll shots and tips when needed right over or around blocks. I saw her rack up kills from the RS and OH spot. Gets up nicely on her jump and has a good powerful swing. Can hit with precision or give you that power. I saw her playing the pin spots at the IL Stock Up Showcase but noticed her profile say also plays DS/L ... I'm not shocked as I had down good passer as well. I saw her get some kills from the RS hitter spot and make some great swings on the OH pin spot. She is able to take an off set and still make a swing out of it, and a kill swing. Placing it close court or to the corners is skilled stuff. Skilled hitter who can get you with power but is very smart and places shots and makes adjustments ... When I see her on the court she competes but can tell is having fun. Super skilled setter with the softest touch and sets. She can make all the sets ... running cross court and back set to her pin, quicks you name it. Agile and quick on her feet.
